Mid QA Automation Tester

In Natech, we are growing our Products Team and looking for Mid QA Automation Testers!

As a Mid QA Automation Tester, you are responsible for testing software applications and systems, ensuring they meet our quality standards and requirements. Besides understanding features and requirements, you design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of the software. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying reporting, and tracking defects and bugs while working with our developers to ensure that they are fixed.

Responsibilities:

• Review user stories and acceptance criteria to develop effective test plans both manual and automated test cases in collaboration with the development team.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow in their roles.
• Participate actively in scrum ceremonies to distribute test cases according to the test pyramid.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Responsible for the STLC of new features on testing suites, taking technical ownership to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes, APIs, and coding standards.
• Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience (3+ years) in automation testing.
• Coding in Python is mandatory and also JavaScript is nice to have.
• SQL database knowledge.
• Master with CI/CD pipeline platforms.
• Good knowledge of API automation using Rest Assured, Postman JavaScript, and Newman.
• Hands-on experience with web browser automation tools (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium / Playwright, Robot-framework).
• Experience in API-Integration testing – Solid Knowledge of the API functioning via manual and automation.
• Familiarity with mobile automation Android and iOS Appium and Appium Inspector with Xamarin and Net. MAUI.
• Understanding of Behavior Driven Development.
• Good command of Azure DevOps and Elastic.
• Enjoys using version control systems (e.g., Git).
